About Joshua Ziarek

The Ziarek Laboratory

Cell survival depends on constantly monitoring and responding to the environment. G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) embedded in the plasma membrane report on extracellular events - like molecular watchtowers to the outside world. Our lab uses a combined biophysical, biochemical and cell-based approach to interrogate the molecular basis of partial agonism, functional selectivity, and allosteric signal transduction.
