We strive to create a welcoming and collegial environment for our students. Upon arrival to campus, you will take part in an orientation week with your peers to help acquaint you with your cohort, our faculty, and the program.
The orientation is followed by three 5-week research rotations under the mentorship of a core faculty member. The research opportunities are diverse and cutting-edge, with a focus on three areas: Genome Biochemistry, Supramolecular Complexes, and Chemical and Physical Biology.
All graduate students are also required to teach for one semester, though additional teaching opportunities are available.
