Carrie Lierz, who earned her PhD in Biochemistry in Martha Oakley's lab in 2024, recently joined the Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA) as a Research Staff Member. The IDA is a non-profit located just outside of Washington, D.C. that administers three federally funded research and development centers aimed at addressing national security issues.
